As the Executive Director, Amanda Ankuyi leads the organization’s mission to inspire children and youth to become compassionate leaders, courageous peacemakers, and active global citizens.
With more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, entrepreneurship, international development, and education, Amanda has supported organizations and communities in Canada and Ghana through strategic partnerships, program development, and capacity building. Her work includes entrepreneurship training for more than 2,000 tradeswomen in Ghana, anti-human trafficking advocacy, curriculum development, and organizational strategy.
Amanda holds a Master of Arts in International Development (with distinction) and a Bachelor of Tourism Management with a Major in Recreation. Having spent much of her career living and working in Ghana, she brings a deep commitment to cross-cultural collaboration and the belief that peace is built through empathy, courage, justice, and hope—values best cultivated from an early age.
