Sojourner Truth and John Woolman’s stories focus on slavery and the origins and development of racism against the country’s Black community. The stories we tell here are of two Peace Heroes - a Black woman and a White man - who dared to defy the widespread practice of slavery and dedicated their lives to working for its abolition.
