Why Peace Heroes
We live in a broken world.
In every country across the globe, children are suffering from the consequences of violence, conflict, crises, poverty, inequality and discrimination.
Nearly 25% of the world’s children live in conflict or disaster stricken countries.
Of the 25 million refugees in
the world today,
over half are children.
50% of the world’s children
have experienced physical, sexual, or emotional violence or neglect in this past year alone.
While children are the most vulnerable, they are also remarkably resilient. We want to raise up a generation that will have the capacity to restore dignity to our broken world.
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”
Every child can be a peace hero!
We have developed a framework that both inspires and equips children to transform the world. Children in multiple countries have already embarked on this journey with Peace Heroes – and the response has been extraordinary!
Peace Heroes is important because in our society, today, people are so broken and so hurt, that they forget how to forgive and they forget about peace. This curriculum teaches us how to find the broken links and repair them . . . I found my hurt – and conquered it!

Peace Heroes has inspired me to work for peace and equality for all, in a world where many thousands of people live in horrible conditions, and are too scared to fight for a better life . . . I want to help people who are suffering, and do my part to bring peace to this world.
